Development Profile

Green Lane, Clanfield PO8 0LG

The site at Green Lane has outline planning permission (reference number 28889/022) for the development of 275 dwellings (including affordable housing provision), a community building on 0.5ha, formal and informal open space (including football pitches, multi use games area, children's play space and allotments) together with associated access, car parking, landscaping and drainage. The site has now been purchased and will be developed jointly by David Wilson Homes and Bovis Homes.

Within the context of the outline planning permission, which gives in-principle approval for the development, the developers will soon be seeking detailed approval of the designs for the residential parts of the scheme, which is required by condition 2 on the planning permission.

Timeline:

Following our recent exhibitions on both 26th November and 1st December 2011, we are reviewing the comments received and will be meeting with East Hampshire District Council planners to review all aspects of the development, with a view to submitting a Planning Application towards the end of December 2011.

Planning was submitted to East Hampshire District Council and was registered on the 17th January 2012. The planning committee was held for this application on 12th April 2012 and planning consent was granted. We can now confirm that work will start on site on Monday 14th May 2012.
